LnPicker started with a small, stubborn problem. Running a giveaway on LinkedIn looks easy until the comments pile up and you have to pick a winner. Scrolling through hundreds of replies, screenshotting a number, and hoping nobody accuses you of favoritism is not a great way to spend an afternoon. We built LnPicker so that the part everyone dreads — the actual draw — takes a few seconds and leaves zero room for doubt.

At its simplest, LnPicker is a LinkedIn Comment Picker for giveaways and contests. You paste the link to a public LinkedIn post, set a couple of rules, and the tool pulls the eligible comments and selects your winners at random. There is no account to create, no password to share, and no plugin to install. If you can copy a URL, you can run a fair draw.

Fairness we can actually stand behind

The word "random" gets thrown around a lot, and most of the time it means someone closed their eyes and scrolled. That is not random, and people can tell. LnPicker uses a cryptographically secure random number generator with a Fisher–Yates shuffle to order entries before selecting winners. In plain terms: every eligible comment has exactly the same chance, the process can't be steered, and the result holds up if anyone questions it. We can't tip the scales toward a friend, a big account, or a particular comment, and neither can you. That is the whole point.

Built for the people running the giveaway

Most picker tools are either bare-bones or bloated. We aimed for the middle: enough control to handle a real campaign, nothing that gets in your way. You can choose how many winners to draw, require a keyword or hashtag so only genuine entries qualify, exclude replies if you only want top-level comments, and remove duplicate accounts so the same person doesn't win twice. When the draw is done, you can export the full comment list and the winners to PDF, Excel, CSV, or TXT. That export matters more than it sounds. Being able to show a downloadable record turns "trust me" into "here's the proof," which is exactly what you want when a prize is on the line.

Privacy by default

We kept the data footprint small on purpose. LnPicker reads public comment data from the post you give it and nothing else. There is no login wall, so we never touch your LinkedIn credentials, and we don't ask you to authorize access to your profile or connections. You bring a public URL, we read public comments, you get your winners. For a tool that handles other people's giveaways, staying out of private data is not a feature we tack on later — it's how the thing is designed.

Who uses LnPicker

The people who keep coming back tend to fall into a few groups. Solo creators and personal-brand builders run engagement giveaways to grow their audience. Marketers and social teams use it for product launches, webinar sign-ups, and follower milestones. Recruiters and community managers run contests to spark conversation. Small businesses use it for seasonal promotions where the prize is real, and the fairness needs to be obvious. What they share is a need for a result they can announce without a single asterisk next to it.

The numbers have grown faster than we expected. To date, creators have run tens of thousands of giveaways through the tool and picked millions of comments, with the kind of uptime that means the draw works when you've already promised your audience a winner by Friday.

How the free trials work

We think you should see the tool do real work before you pay for it, so every new user gets 3 free trial draws. Run an actual giveaway, export the results, and decide for yourself. If LnPicker becomes part of how you run campaigns, the Creator plan at $5/month suits occasional draws, and the Growth plan at $50/year is built for people running giveaways regularly and who'd rather pay once. No long contracts, no upsell maze.

Part of a bigger family

LnPicker is one of a set of comment-picker tools built by the same team for different platforms — Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, Reddit, Threads, Twitch, and more. The thinking behind each is the same: read public entries, draw fairly, prove it. If your giveaways span more than one network, the rest of the family works the same way LnPicker does, so there's nothing new to learn.

Where we're headed

We're not trying to turn a simple tool into a giant dashboard nobody asked for. The roadmap is mostly about doing the core job better: faster scraping on big posts, smarter filters, cleaner exports, and clearer records you can share with your audience or your legal team. If you have an idea or hit a snag, we'd rather hear about it than guess. You can reach us any time at [email protected], and a real person will read it.

Giveaways are supposed to be fun — for the people entering and for the person running them. LnPicker exists to keep the fun in and take the doubt out. Paste a link, draw a winner, show your work. That's it.
